Still Moving Forward: Phase III Update

It’s been a little while since our last Phase III update, and while we don’t have a big announcement to make just yet, we know many of you are following the project closely and wondering:

“What’s happening at 20 Hill Road?”

The short answer is: lots...just mostly behind the scenes!

Our rezoning application for the proposed 132-unit seniors apartment expansion at 20 Hill Road continues to move through the planning process with the assistance and cooperation of the City of Greater Sudbury Planning Department.

Planning a project of this size takes time, and not every milestone comes with a shovel, a crane, or something exciting to photograph. But progress is being made, conversations are continuing, and the pieces are steadily coming together.

Looking Ahead to 2027

We remain very encouraged by the progress and are confident that we’ll have good news to share in the first quarter of 2027.

We know there are many people eagerly awaiting the next chapter at 20 Hill Road including future residents and families looking for more seniors housing options in Lively. We appreciate your continued interest, questions and enthusiasm.

So, while the shovels aren’t in the ground quite yet…

Things are moving. We’re getting closer. And we’re excited about what comes next.
